LED is returning to the Morrison Center for the Performing Arts in Boise, Idaho for the one-night-only premiere of their newest evening-length production: Jabberwock. For the past three years, LED has dazzled Boise audiences with their unique blend of athletic, contemporary dance, live original music, and film.
Jabberwock, a contemporary adaptation of Lewis Carroll's nonsense poem “Jabberwocky”, uses the classic hero’s tale to create a world of suspense and whimsy, exploring themes of good versus evil, resilience, autonomy and truth. Set within a dystopian 1950’s inspired office space, we begin to see the balance of power shift as we’re left questioning who will flourish and who will escape this place to discover something greater beyond its mythical walls.
Featuring a cast of world class dancers from throughout the United States, with choreography by Lauren Edson, and brand new original music by Andrew Stensaas, Jabberwock will be an evening you will not soon forget.
