BROADWAY IN BOISE BY THE NUMBERS
TALKBACKS WITH THE CAST
This season, we hosted five engaging talkbacks featuring company members and diverse audience groups, deepening the connection between performers and attendees. These interactive sessions were attended primarily by organized groups, longtime subscribers, local scout troops, Boise State University students, and participants in the Patty Duke Awards program. By fostering dialogue among these varied demographics, our talkbacks contributed to a richer, more inclusive community experience and strengthened our relationships with new and returning patrons.

BROADWAY & BREWS
Broadway & Brews was a new event from the Morrison Center that combined the energetic environment of Lost Grove Brewing with the magic of the Morrison Center! More than 190 people attended six exciting events that served as pre-show celebrations for well-known musicals, including Wicked, Hamilton, and Tina: The Tina Turner Musical.
In addition to enjoying delicious pizza and a variety of local craft brews, guests also gained special behind-the-scenes knowledge, creating communal moments that enhanced their entire theatrical experience before the curtain was raised.
SEASON REVEAL PARTY
For a third year, we embarked on an exciting new journey at our Season Reveal Party on March 10, hosted by Executive Director Laura Kendall and Boise State Professor of Theatre Arts Darrin Pufall Purdy. The event welcomed 1,131 enthusiastic Broadway fans, who gathered to jet set into the upcoming season. The evening featured showstopping performances by three Broadway stars from hit productions like Disney’s The Lion King, Les Misérables, and Shucked. Adding a uniquely local flair to this voyage, six talented Idaho high school students from the Bravo Broadway Ensemble joined the stars on stage, making it a truly unforgettable celebration as we chart a course for an inspiring season ahead.
