Arts Access

The Morrison Center welcomes your 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to register for our Arts Access Program, designed to build a more inclusive and vibrant arts scene in Idaho. We aim to broaden access to arts experiences by providing nonprofit organizations that serve our community with complimentary tickets to Morrison Center performances. 

 

*The Arts Access Program is not for tickets pertaining to fundraising. Ticket donation requests for fundraising purposes may be submitted six (6) weeks prior to your fundraising event by using the following form:

Focus & Availability

  • This program specifically provides tickets to performances at the Morrison Center.
  • Ticket distribution is subject to availability. 
  • The number of complimentary tickets available may vary. 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Nonprofit Status: Organizations must be recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity. Proof of this status (e.g. IRS determination letter) may be requested during registration or at any time. 
  • Service Area: While not strictly limited, preference may be given to organizations primarily serving Boise, Idaho, and the surrounding communities. 
  • Registration: Organizations must register through the designated process to receive communication about ticket opportunities.

  • Online Registration: Organizations must complete the online registration form.
    • Updates: Registered organizations are responsible for keeping their contact information current through the provided form or by notifying Jessica Morse at jessicamorse@boisestate.edu

Ticket Distribution Process

  • Notification: Registered organizations will be notified via email about upcoming MC Presents Series performances for which complimentary tickets are available. 
  • Request Process: The notification will outline the process for requesting tickets, which may include: 
    • specifying the desired performance date and time. 
    • indicating the number of tickets requested (within any specified limits).
    • responding by a designated deadline. 
  • Allocation: Ticket allocation will be based on: 
    • ticket availability for the specific performance.
    • number of requests received. 
    • the organization's demonstrated need and community impact. 
    • past participation in the Arts Access Program. 
  • Confirmation: Organizations receiving tickets will be notified via email with confirmation details, including the number of tickets allocated and any specific instructions for claiming them. 
  • Ticket Delivery: Tickets may be delivered electronically, held at will-call, or mailed depending on the circumstances and timelines. 

Ticket Usage Guidelines

  • Non-Transferable: Complimentary tickets are non-transferable to other organizations or individuals not directly affiliated with the registered organization.
  • Intended Use: Tickets are intended for use by the clients, staff, volunteers, or board members of the registered nonprofit organization to experience the performance.
  • Digital Compliance: If ticket allocation is managed digitally, the organization must not share offer codes, promotional codes, or other digital access.
  • No Resale: Complimentary tickets may not be sold or exchanged for monetary value. 
  • Acknowledgement: Organizations are encouraged to acknowledge the Arts Access Program or the Morrison Center in their internal communications or social media (if applicable) when utilizing tickets.

Program Administration

  • Discretion: The Morrison Center reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Arts Access Program at any time. 
  • Communication: All official communication regarding the Arts Access Program will be through the registered email addresses. 
  • Feedback: Participating organizations may be periodically asked for feedback on their experience with the program to help improve its effectiveness. 
  • Compliance: The Morrison Center reserves the right to request additional information or documentation to ensure compliance with these guidelines. Failure to comply may result in the organization being removed from the program.
