Age Recommendations

A wide range of family-friendly and educational activities are offered. Please call 208-426-1110 for questions regarding the age-appropriateness of any event. All individuals, regardless of age, attending a performance must have a ticket to the event.

Canceled or Postponed Performances

If a performance is cancelled or postponed, we will notify ticket holders via the email and/or phone number on the purchasers account. Please add [email protected] to your email contacts so that you receive our communications.

Refreshments are located throughout the facility for your convenience.

Food or beverages are allowed in the auditorium. Items not purchased at the Center are prohibited unless otherwise noted. Personal water and/or beverage bottles are prohibited in the venue.

Alcohol Sales: The State Board of Education requires a valid ID for alcohol sales. All adult beverages must remain on the premises.


Located in the northeast corner of the main lobby, allowing access to the upper levels. Note: only the paths to entries 1, 11 & 12 are free of stairs.

First Aid

In case of emergency, the Center’s policy is to contact 911. In addition, two Automated External Defibrillators (AED) are located on-site.

Late Seating

House chimes ring prior to curtain and the closing of Main Hall doors. Patrons who arrive late are seated at the discretion of management and may be asked to wait at the doors until an appropriate break in the program. Patrons may be seated at the back of the Main Hall until intermission. This policy is subject to change based upon the discretion of the House Manager or the specific requirements of the event.

Lost and Found

Please call (208) 426-1609 to inquire about a lost item or visit the main office during normal business hours.

Main Doors

The Morrison Center opens one hour prior to the start of the event. Seating in the Main Hall begins a one-half hour prior to curtain.

Photography and Video Recording

Due to copyright laws, recording devices of any kind are not permitted in the auditorium.

Restricted Entry

The Morrison Center reserves the right to refuse entry to patrons appearing to be under the influence of, or found to be in possession of any controlled substance.

In order to maintain a safe and secure environment, pursuant to University Policy, Section XII, the Morrison Center reserves the right to search all bags. Clutches or purses no larger than 14×14 are permitted. Large purses, tote bags, backpacks and fanny packs are strongly discouraged and prohibited for most shows. The Morrison Center facility has been designated as a guns-free environment.


Located throughout the facility. All restrooms have disability access. Diaper-changing stations are located on the first-level men’s restroom and the second and third level women’s restrooms. An All-User Private Restroom is located on the first-level.


The BSU Campus is a non-smoking (including e-products indoors) campus. The Morrison Center has a designated patron smoking area. Please see House Management for location.

What to Wear

There is no specific dress code for the Center.

As in any public venue, the “no shoes, no shirt, no service” rule applies.
