Experience the power and artistry of the Boise State Symphonic Winds, a nationally recognized ensemble of dedicated student musicians performing cornerstone repertoire alongside compelling contemporary works. Led by Dr. Myron Peterson, the ensemble aims to connect people through music, offering programs that challenge audiences to contemplate their relationship with various universal and human themes. Featuring the finest woodwind, brass, and percussion artists on campus, this premier wind band delivers engaging professional performances showcasing technical precision and vivid expression. Recognized for institutional excellence, the ensemble has performed at multiple College Band Directors National Association conferences (1998, 2004, 2011, and 2026) and recently served as a featured performer at the 2025 Idaho Music Educators Association conference.
Symphonic Winds is pleased to share this concert with the Mountain View High School Concert Band under the direction of Mr. Joshua Barro.
Additional Ticket Information
- Parking is included with ticket purchase. See www.MorrisonCenter.com for more information regarding parking and upcoming events.
- Boise State University students, staff and faculty are eligible for one (1) complimentary ticket with valid ID. BSU tickets are available in person at the Morrison Center Ticket Office only.
- Sunday Deal – Save $1.00 per ticket when purchasing both shows on 11/15/26, or 4/18/27. Tickets must be purchased at the same time from the Morrison Center Ticket Office to be eligible for discount.
- Everyone through the door, regardless of age, requires a ticket.
- No professional cameras or recording devices will be allowed without prior written permission.
- No outside food/beverage.
- No large bags will be admitted. All guests and their bags are subject to inspection.
