Disney’s The Lion King features immersive theatrical lighting effects that are integral to the storytelling. These include brief strobe lighting and lightning effects during select moments of the performance.

- 4 seconds of lightning when Zazu says, "Not the birdie broiler!"
- 4 seconds of lightning when Shenzi says, "That's it? Come on, do it again."
